We are looking for an enthusiastic, well spoken, team player to join our crew as a 434 Animal Hospital Receptionist.
This position is not your typical clerical receptionist position and does include the need to be on your feet, comfortable handling animals and their owners, as well as being organized, and efficient at multi-tasking.
The ability to communicate clearly to fellow coworkers, doctors and clients and the confidence to talk to people directly as well as over the phone is essential.
Receptionist duties include but are not limited to: Making appointments, greeting clients, checking patients in and out of appointments, money transactions, making follow up and confirmation phone calls, maintaining an clean and organized lobby, checking in boarders and setting them up in their kennels, having basic knowledge of heartworm/flea/tick preventatives, having basic knowledge of feline/canine vaccine protocols, and being able to confidently communicate with our clientele.
Minimum of 2 years experience in the veterinary industry is preferred, but we are willing to work with a novice with an upbeat personality, good work ethic, and drive to learn.
